Senior Fitness: Balance & Mobility in Richland
Results Based Coaching's Senior Fitness program in Richland is thirty minutes, six people maximum, built around the things that actually keep you independent: balance, getting down to the floor and back up, and the strength to catch yourself when you stumble. Shorter sessions, a very small group, and a coach focused entirely on functional movement.
What a Session Looks Like
Shorter and more focused than our other sessions, with a coach working closely with a small group. Dynamic warm-up, then work on balance, stability, functional strength and confident movement, then cool-down.
Half an hour is deliberate. It’s long enough to do real work and short enough that it doesn’t become the thing you dread, which matters far more for consistency than intensity ever does.
Nothing here is intimidating. Several of our members were new to exercise and many started in this program after years away from any kind of exercise.
Who It Suits
- Seniors who want to stay independent, keep driving, play with grandkids on the floor, and keep traveling
- People rehabilitating after an injury, a hospital stay or a fall
- Anyone who has started feeling unsteady on uneven ground or on stairs
- Members using a walker, cane or prosthetic — we coach adaptive clients regularly and it is not unusual here
- People who’ve been told by a doctor that they need to be doing something, and need some gentle exercise
What Changes to Expect
The measurements we take predict independence: grip strength, balance, and whether you can get off the floor unaided. We reassess every eight weeks.
What members actually report is more specific than that. Carrying the shopping up the front steps without stopping. Whether it’s getting down to weed the garden, taking the stairs with ease, or losing your fear of the floor, we train for real life. These are real, everyday wins our clients experience.
